Kathryn Hahn is one of the hardest working and funniest women in show business. A comedian and actor, Kathryn is best known for her roles in Bad Moms, Tomorrowland, We’re the Millers, and Step Brothers. Kathryn is also a mother to two children, her son Leonard and daughter Mae. Kathryn describes herself as an “extroverted introvert” and loves nothing more than curling up with a good book.
In this episode, Kathryn talks about her family life and maintaining a healthy work/life balance. She debunks the notion of “having it all.” Kathryn reveals what it was like to be in the throes of postpartum anxiety and how she eventually leveled off. Jennifer and Kathryn share their own parenting techniques ranging from discussing religion to simply spending time with their children. Finally, Kathryn shares some of her latest projects, including a Netflix movie, a pilot for HBO called Mrs. Fletcher, based on the bestselling novel by The Leftovers author, Tom Perrota, and a children’s book she recently wrote in collaboration with her daughter, Mae, called My Wish for You: Lessons from My Six Year Old Daughter (Pre-order: scholastic.com; available everywhere September 25).
