Tanya is a single mother, currently writing for TV and living in Los Angeles with her daughter and their dog, Wally. She wrote and hosted Lifetime’s Celebrity Buzz and has written for numerous networks including Nickelodeon, A&E, Comedy Central, and Lifetime. She is also a founding member of the improv groups, “The Last Women on Earth” and “Transformerz.” In addition, she has written the book, How to Raise an Amazing Child without Getting Upstaged.”
In this episode, Tanya talks candidly about her struggle with bipolar disorder, meds, and early menopause. She speaks about her experience living in West Seattle, her experience with separation after 13 years of marriage, and dealing with sobriety all while raising her daughter. Also, she openly speaks about the problems within her marriage, including gaslighting, and how she worked to deal with them to become a stronger, better person.
